ouch!
i had all four of my wisdom teeth surgically removed yesterday. i was really doing good. i worked the night before and was 'nothing per mouth' after twelve midnight. it worked well, i was so sleepy and they sedated me for the surgery. it was quick, just an hour since i went in at 10 o'clock then i was looking at my blood pressure before the doc told me that he's giving me the 'happy juice'. right at that time, my pulse was going up from 70 to 100's then 120's, then the dental tech was waking me up. looked at the clock it was eleven. he wheeled me to the car where pong was waiting. then next thing i remember, i was taking a shower and off to bed. i was asleep since five pm then woke up, went downstairs and everybody was gone. i saw the prescribed percocet and motrin pong had pick up while i was in lala land. took couple of each afraid that i might feel the pain, then the hell began... i was throwing-up non stop for the next 24 hours. damn that percocet made me sick. i flushed them all down the drain. shet!

Top 10 Etiquette Faux Pas

Etiquette expert Joy Weaver offers a list of Top 10 etiquette faux pas:

- Forgetting to turn cell phones on silent in public places - and even worse, answering with a "cell yell."

- Not responding to party invitations - just showing up and bringing a friend.

- Not sending a thank-you note or at least thank-you e-mail.

- Double Dipping! Not only is it rude, but it can be a health hazard to dunk food into a dip after taking a bite.

- Coughing and sneezing in your social (right) hand. You shake hands, pick up utensils and finger foods with your right hand.

- Re-gifting! If you don't like a gift, donate it or give it to someone who can use it - don't pass it off as a gift you purchased for someone else.

- Using the wrong bread plate or water glass - remember BMW (bread on the left, meal in the center, water on the right).

- Inviting and not paying.

- Applying lipstick at the table. All personal grooming should be done in the restroom.

- Passing around junk e-mails and screaming at your friend by typing with all capital letters.

who said spring break's for schoolers only? we had our share as well! pong's cousin from utah was here for few days. we walked down the river walk then clubbing at cayote ugly, polly esther's in san antonio then after we stopped by the alamo, took her shopping at san marcus then at 'the galleria', then roxy in houston (roxy rocks! akon was there for concert...yeah! ). we checked-in at the marriot in front of the galleria made it so easy to get around that area. we even had time to eat at todai, then also stopped by prior at belaire's china town (finally found it!) and ate at tan tan's restaurant ( food was superb!...love peking duck...). then visited the moody gardens in galveston and also walked down the beach. all that in 3 days...wow! i had so much fun since i really never went out after giving birth to arend and mom getting sick. i really had a blast. i'm actually planning on the next road trip...

mama's last chemo was last friday. i am hoping that this cancer she had will not be coming back anymore. her chemo is making her weak, it will be for the first 3-4 weeks after her chemo.
with all these things happening to us. we postponed our trip to philippines supposedly this month to spend fiesta and have a belated bday celebration for arend. but i was told that because of the big flood that happened recently in our town and so many houses and crops and lives were destroyed, they spent all the money for relief. so no more town budget for fiesta. which is ofcourse understandable and it does'nt really matter since i'm not going home. but hey! there's already jollibee and chow-king. hehe! nice.
