it's raining. arend wore his rain boots and had fun jumping on paddles.

fire prevention day

yesterday was fire prevention day at arend's school.
this is 3 and 4 years old class combined to listen to the fire fighters.

purple blankie

after missing school of being sick last tuesday. arend thinks he can rest and take a nap in school. he insist in taking his pillow and blankie with him. his blue blankie which he refers to his purple blankie is his security. we don't leave it behind if we know we will be gone overnight or else everyone will not have a goodnight rest. we brought it but it stayed in the car.

































he was wearing his shoes with skull. just perfect for halloween. coming out of the room, he has his project of creepy spiders with him. *cute
i was surprise to see him second in line. he's always the last one.

pre-k

arend starts school...
his first day today, syempre meron picture-taking.
on the way out, with my red 'kipling' backpack...pamana from me.
mas matanda pa sa kanya. it's his favorite. he doesn't leave home without it.
and his school bag. the marc jacobs makulit bag. they require a tote bag in school.
backpack is to hassle for the techers when they have to put in stuff for them to take home.
i thought of getting one for him when we were in new york.

i was so worried but he did not even cling on me. he was so prepared. good prep weeks ago really helped. he looked so tired when i picked him up after school. he said "mah! i want milk and a looooooooooong nap." (so cute*)
i still cannot believe my lil' boy in school already.
